Creating a new message
1. Select

2. Enter the phone number or email address of the person to whom you are
sending the message, or select

to choose a saved phone
number or email address.
Note: If you wish to enter an email address, you need to switch text entry
modes: To enter letters, press
right, then press
to switch to
mode. To enter “@” from
mode, press
repeatedly until the
symbol appears. For more information on text entry, see page 37.
3. Press
to
select

4. Enter your text message. You can enter text manually, insert a pre-
written message, and add emoticons (“smiley faces”).
