STEP 8: Set up Windows for New Modem
After installing the hardware and software, follow these steps to set up
Windows for a standard 19200 bps modem:
1. Go to Start | Settings | Control Panel | Modems.
2. In the Modem Properties screen, click Add.

3. The next screen will ask what type of modem you want to install. Select
Other, then click Next>.
