Titles can not be edited or deleted. • The titles itself may be protected. Cancel the protection by
following the steps on page 48.

No operation by remote control
Pressing SET UP does not do anything.
• Check if the batteries are weak or inserted incorrectly.
Replace weak batteries and insert with their polarities
(+/- signs) as indicated.
• Aim the remote control at the remote sensor and operate
within 23 feet (7 m) of the unit.
• Remove all obstacles to clear the path of the infrared signal.
• Refer to the infrared signal. (See page
13.)
• Select the correct mode to operate by pressing DVR or DVD.
• The operable range from the unit is
10 feet (3m) within 15˚.
• While the Programmed Recordings Screen, or the Title List is
displayed or while the disc is loading, SET UP does not
respond.

The Clock display does not appear
in the Front Panel Display. • Check that the AC power cord is connected securely.
• (In case of power failure) Check the breaker and Clock Setting.
When you forget the password
for Parental Lock.
• Please cancel the password and the set level. (See pages 83-84.)
