Make sure your hand or any other metal
object is not covering the area around the
built-in antenna.

Did you enter the phone number starting
with the area code?
When making a call to a phone other than
a cell phone, you need to enter the area
code even if you are inside the same area.

Cannot receive calls.
Is (out of range indicator) displayed?
Move to a location where (out of range
indicator) is no longer displayed. Also
check the Area Setting. 10, 20

No response when a
key is pressed.

A warning tone sounds
