Chinese models in detail
This section provides more information about the
differences and extra features of the Chinese mod-
els, that is, the P990i Chinese and P990c, when
compared to the non-Chinese model (P990i Stand-
ard).
Product Name and Languages
All Chinese models have both the default and alter-
native language stored in memory. These cannot
be deleted.
There are basically two written languages of Chi-
nese; Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
Traditional Chinese is used in Taiwan and Hong
Kong. Simplified Chinese is used in China and Sin-
gapore.
