power up.

1. RJ-4 plug

crimped incorrectly;

or wiring pinout of

RJ-4 reversed.

Verify wiring pinout and RJ-4

crimp. Correct by re-crimping

RJ-4 to Cat- cable.

. Break in Cat-

between Zone and

“Head-End”.

Check RJ-4 to RJ-4 con-

nections with cable tester.

3. Receiver or

processor power is

disconnected.

Check AC outlet for power (re-

set breaker if tripped) making

sure power cord is securely

plugged in.
