5 Use the “-” and “+” keys to select the desired background
suppression level.
● If level 1 is selected, darker background areas will be erased.
The level can be adjusted in three steps. The default setting is
level 3.
6 Press the upper “OK” key.
7 Make all other desired copier selections and enter the
desired number of copies.
8 Press the COLOR COPY START ( ) key.
● The BLACK COPY START ( ) key can be pressed for
copying. However, the SUPPRESS BACKGROUND setting will
be ignored.
● To cancel the SUPPRESS BACKGROUND function, select the
SUPPRESS BACKGROUND function again and press the
“CANCEL” key.
