Tap “Pen.”
The “Pen” dialog box appears.

From the drop-down list, tap the function you want to start
when you set the full-screen pen stroke.
• The Backlight option turns on the backlight of your CLIE handheld.
It is convenient for you to switch ON/OFF of the backlight without
using the power button.
• The Keyboard option opens the on-screen keyboard for entering text
characters.
• The Graffiti Help option opens a series of screens that show the
complete Graffiti character set.
• The Turn Off and Lock option turns off and locks your CLIE
handheld. You must assign your password to lock the CLIE
handheld. When locked, you need to enter the password to use your
CLIE handheld.
• The Beam Data option beams the current record to another Palm OS
handheld device.

Tap “OK.”
The “Button Preferences” dialog box appears.
