Using Basic Applications
• Tap “Manual” to sort new memos in the sequence in which you
create them.
• Tap “Alphabetic” to sort the existing memos in numerical and
alphabetical sequence.

Setting the display order
You can change the order of memos using manual mode, then move memos
according to your preferred order in the Memo Pad screen.
Moving memos
Tap a memo in the “Memo” screen and drag it to another location. The
memo is moved to the location where you release the stylus. When a memo
is relocated, its memo number is changed accordingly.
Note
The Memo Pad’s display order setting is not reflected in the Palm Desktop for Sony
software. Consequently, there may be discrepancies between the order in which memos
are displayed between your CLIE handheld and the Palm Desktop for Sony software.
