Copying data from the CLIE
handheld to a Memory Stick media
Not only can you save data on your computer using HotSync, but you can
also save data from your CLIE handheld on a Memory Stick using “MS
Gate.”
Note
A Memory Stick media cannot be used while the remaining battery power is low, because
duplicating data consumes battery power. In that case, connect the AC adapter.

Insert a Memory Stick media into the CLIE handheld.

Tap the Home icon .
The “Application Launcher” appears.

Rotate the Jog Dial to select “MS Gate,” then press the Jog
Dial.
“MS Gate” starts, and a list of data stored on your CLIE handheld is
displayed.
• SelectAll: to copy all data at once
• ClearAll: to cancel the selection of selected data

Select the data you want to copy to the Memory Stick media
by tapping.

You can tap and select multiple files.
Note
You cannot copy data marked with (no-copy mark).
