You can apply effects, or Smart Filters, to your images after you have taken
them when in the Playback mode. Each one of these effects is processed in
camera and the NX creates a new image, keeping the original intact, placing it
at the end of all the other images. You can apply Smart Filters as many times as
you like, even running the newly created file through a second, third or fourth
additional Smart Filter. The point is to just have fun and experiment.
In-camera Smart Filters are great fun to play with and
add an extra dimension to your photos

HOW TO FIND THEM:
Press the Playback button [1]
and then the ‘Fn’ [2], scrolling
through to Smart Filters [3].
The effect is shown on the
display. Press ‘OK’ and a new
file is created.
