For efficient operation without wasting energy, only pans suitable for
cooking on electric appliances must be used:
• Pan bottoms must be very thick and perfectly flat,
and they and the hob must be clean and dry.
• Never use cast iron or rough-bottomed pans
since they might scratch the cooking surface.
• The diameter of the pan bottom must be the
same as the diameter of the ring on the cooking
zone; otherwise, energy will be wasted.
