Fast forward / Fast reverse

During playback, press [FWD D] or [REW E].
Every time you press [FWD D] or [REW E], approximate speed will be
changed as follows. For DVD discs, sound will be output during x
1.5 fast for-
ward only if you set “Fast Forward with Audio” to “ON” at the “Playback” set-
ting in the Setting menu.
Fast forward or fast reverse playback across titles (for DVD discs) or
tracks is not possible.
For Video CDs, approximate speed is fixed at x
1.5, x8, x16 in fast for-
ward and x2, x8, x
16 in fast reverse playback.
For Audio CDs, approximate speed is fixed at x8 with sound.
To return to the normal playback, press [PLAY B].

You can skip TV commercials by
pressing [
], in order to enjoy
the recorded programs without
interruption.

Normal playback will start at 30-
seconds advanced from where

].
Every time you press [

playback starting point will be
extended by 30 seconds ahead.
You can press up to 6 times (
180
seconds).
