Video mode is the default record-
ing format for DVD-RW.
You can change it to VR mode
from the Setting Menu.

Press [SET UP].
Easy Setting Menu or Advanced
Setting Menu will appear.

Using [K / L], select “Disc”.
Press [ENTER].
Disc menu will appear.

Using [K / L], select
“Format”. Press [ENTER].
Confirmation window will appear.

Using [K / L], select “Yes”.
Press [ENTER].
Final confirmation window will
appear.

Using [K / L], select “Yes”.
Press [ENTER].
Formatting will start.

Formatting is complete.
100% will be indicated.
This operation may take a

Note
• When you reformat the disc,
all contents of the disc will be
erased.
• If you want to cancel format-
ting at step 3 or 4, select
“No”.
• A disc once formatted in
Video mode with this unit
cannot be used on other
DVD recorders.
