Modify Index

Press NAVIGATION to display the Library Database Navigation
screen.

Press selection keys to select AORIGINALB, then press
ENTER.

Press selection keys to select a title you want to modify, then
press
G.

Press selection keys to select AMODIFYB, then press ENTER.

Press selection keys to select AMODIFY INDEXB, then press
ENTER.

Press I to start
playback. Press O or
N to search for the
picture from the title,
then press
W.

Confirm the arrow is on
AREPLACEB, then press
ENTER.
● The new index appears
on the right window.

Confirm the arrow is on ARETURNB, then press ENTER.
● You can confirm the new index.

Press NAVIGATION to return to the normal screen.
Modify Title Name

Perform steps 1 - 4 of AModify IndexB (A pg. 46) before
continuing.

Press selection keys to
select
AMODIFY NAMEB,
then press ENTER.

Input a new title name.
● Press selection keys to
select the desired letter
or symbol, then press
ENTER.
● To erase the letter, press
selection keys to select
ADELETEB or ADELETE
ALL
B, then press ENTER.
● You can enter up to 64 letters.
● You can also use the number keys on the remote control to
input the letters. For example, pressing the number key
A2B
repeatedly changes the letter in the order of AAB, ABB, ACB, AaB,
AbB, AcB and A2B. The following buttons can also be used.

Press selection keys to select ASAVEB, then press ENTER.
● The new title name is registered.

Press selection keys to select ARETURNB, then press ENTER.
● Return to the Library Database Navigation screen to confirm
the modified name.

Press NAVIGATION to return to the normal screen.
Modify Category

Perform steps 1 - 4 of AModify IndexB (A pg. 46) before
continuing.

Press selection keys to
select
AMODIFY
CATEGORY B, then press
ENTER.

Press selection keys to
select the desired
category, then press
ENTER.

Press selection keys to
select
ARETURNB, then
press ENTER.
● Return to the Library Database Navigation screen to confirm
the modified category.

Press NAVIGATION to return to the normal screen.
Edit Original Information
● Turn on the TV and select an input mode such as EXT1.
● Load a DVD disc to modify.
● Slide the TV/DVD switch to DVD.
ATTENTION:
● It is not possible to modify discs recorded on DVD units from
other manufacturers.
● You cannot perform timer recording during editing of index by
pressing NAVIGATION. Press NAVIGATION to clear the
editing screen before performing timer recording.
