Do the following BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE
for the first time each day:
IMPORTANT: DO NOT top up with fresh oil until
the oil level is BELOW the add mark.
1. Check engine oil level on dipstick (A). Add as
required, using seasonal viscosity grade oil. (See
DIESEL ENGINE OIL). Add oil at rocker arm cover
filler cap (B).
IMPORTANT: DO NOT fill above the crosshatch
area. Oil levels anywhere within
crosshatch are considered in the
acceptable operating range.
