Make sure that you chose the correct Reception option in

the Channel menu (see page 16).

NOTE: You can use the TV/DTV button on the remote to

choose between NTSC and ATSC options.

Press the Power button 1 on the remote, or front of the

unit, to turn on the unit; the Power indicator will light green.

Press the INPUT button 2 repeatedly to select the TV

mode (the channel will appear in the display).

OPTIONS

FOR TV MODE:

TV AIR: If using a VHF/UHF antenna with analog option.

TV CABLE: If using Cable TV with analog option.

FOR DTV MODE:

DTV AIR: If using a VHF/UHF antenna with digital option.

DTV CABLE: If using Cable TV with digital option.

NOTES:

• When ANTENNA option is set to TV, only channels up

to 69 can be chosen. When set to CATV, channels up

to 125 can be chosen.

FAQs:

Why do I only receive 69 channels, when my cable goes much higher?

While in TV (NTSC) mode, the Reception option must be set to CABLE when using cable, see Step 2 above.

Why are some channels scrambled?

You must subscribe to these channels through your cable company.

For proper operation, before selecting channels, they must be set into

the unit’s program memory, see page 17.

Press and release the CHANNEL Up 1 or Down 2 button. The TV

automatically stops at the next channel set

TV/CATV Direct Channel Selection buttons (0-9) 3

Use these buttons to select a channel. The channel number will

appear at the top right corner of the screen. Simply enter the 1, 2 or

3 digit channel number, followed by the ENTER button 4.

ATSC Direct Channel Selection buttons (0-9) 3

Use these buttons to select a channel. The channel number will

appear at the top right corner of the screen. Enter the main channel

number, then the - button 5, then enter the sub-channel, followed by

the ENTER button 4.

HEADPHONE JACK (SIDE OF UNIT)

For private listening, connect 3.5mm (32 ohm) stereo headphones (not included) to this jack. The speakers are automatically

disconnected when the headphone plug is inserted in the jack.
