19 Press CURSOR up/down (
∧ ∧ ∧ ∧ ∨ ∨ ∨ ∨) or the number buttons on the DCP501 remote control to enter
the desired password, using CURSOR left/right (
<<<< >>>>
) to move between digits. When all four
digits have been entered, press right CURSOR right (>) to highlight O K and then press SELECT
to store the password.
To change a password, follow the same steps, highlighting C h a n g e P a s s w o r d and
press SELECT . You are required to first enter the old password before changing to a new
one.
To clear the password feature, thereby removing the Rating Level, follow the same
steps, highlighting C l e a r P a s s w o r d and press S ELECT . You will first be required to
enter the current password before clearing.
20 Press down arrow (
∨ ∨ ∨ ∨) to highlight the T V A s p e c t option on the D V D S E T U P menu.
21 TV ASPECT: Press SELECT to set T V A s p e c t . This option changes the TV aspect to
widescreen (16:9) or conventional (4:3). The factory setting for aspect ratio is
4 X 3 L e t t e r b o x .
22 Press CURSOR up/down (

4 X 3 L e t t e r b o x to watch a ‘letterbox’ movie on a conventional TV
4 x 3 P a n S c a n to watch a ‘letterbox’ movie full screen on a conventional TV
1 6 X 9 W i d e s c r e e n if you have a widescreen TV
23 Press SELECT .
24 Press down arrow (
