Entering Numbers
Deleting Letters and Words
Place the cursor to the right of the text you want to
delete, and then do the following:
Use Symbol Text Entry Method
Your phone provides an alternate way to enter symbol
characters in a message. Press
M from any text entry
screen and select the Symbol menu option.
Action
1 Enter the first digit and then highlight it to put the
iTAP software in number entry mode.
2 Press number keys to add digits to the number.
3 Press SELECT ( + ) to enter the number at the
flashing cursor location.
Action
Press DELETE ( - ) to delete one letter at a time.
Hold DELETE ( - ) to delete the entire message.
