Missed Message Segment
If part of a message is
received, your pager
displays a missed
message segment
indicator at the point
where part of the
message is missing.
Read Message
Missed Message Indicator
Each message transmit-
ted by the Iridium system
is numbered sequentially.
If set by your service pro-
vider, your 9501 pager
displays the system sequence number at the end of
each received message.
If you receive a message
that is out of sequential
order, your pager
indicates the missed
message(s) in the
message preview screen.
Message Preview
Missed messages can be retrieved from the Iridium
system by referencing the indicated sequence
number(s).
Note: Consult with your service provider for the
best way to retrieve missed messages.
Truncated Message Indicator
If the end of a message is
not received,

appears
at the end of the text that
was received.
