Electrical Service
VOLTAGE
The maximum allowable voltage variation is
± 10% of
the rated voltage on the ice machine model/serial
number plate at start-up (when the electrical load is
highest).
FUSE/CIRCUIT BREAKER
A separate fuse/circuit breaker must be provided for
each ice machine.
NOTE: A disconnect means must be provided for field
wiring.
ELECTRICAL RATING
The electrical rating is used to help select the wire size
of the electrical supply. The wire size (or gauge) also
depends on location, materials used, length of run, etc.,
so it must be determined by a qualified electrician.

All wiring must conform to local, state and national
codes.

Never use an extension cord. If an outlet is not
within reach of the ice machine’s power cord, have
a proper amperage outlet wired closer to the ice
