Indicator Color TV Condition Additional Information
None (indicator off) Normal TV on or standby condition. Normal operation.
Yellow, steady 1. Operating temperature is too high,
dust filter may need cleaning.
See appendix G concerning dust filter cleaning. TV
will not operate when the dust filter is clogged and
internal temperature rises too high.
2. Room temperature is too high. TV will not operate when the ambient room
temperature is too high. Turn off the TV and wait
until the room temperature drops.
Yellow, blinking Dust filter cover is not in place or not
secure. TV will not operate until the dust filter cover is
securely in place.
Red, either steady or
blinking TV may require service. Turn off the TV and unplug the set from the AC power
source. Wait one minute and then plug the set back
in.
