Choosing standard settings
The compact disc player provides two standard settings, called
Types, which configure the 507 into the most commonly needed
configurations.
Choosing a Type overrides any other configuration you may
have performed, and so can be used to reset the configuration
of the unit.
Type 1 is the recommended Type. Type 2 is provided for
compatibility with Meridian 600 or 200 Series units.
To restore the standard settings
● Switch off the compact disc player, using the power switch on
the back panel.
● Switch on the power again while holding down Off (front
panel).
After a short delay the display
will show:
Type 1
● Press [ or ] (front panel) to select between Type 1 and Type
2.
For example, to reset to Type 1
the display shows:
Type 1
● Switch the power off and then on again, using the power
switch on the back panel, to use the 507 with the standard
configuration.
