. Press the mute/program button to confirm your selection.
NOTE: If both AUDIO PREDIAL and KEY TONE are
set to on, AUDIO PREDIAL will take the priority
in dialing mode.
Message Alert (for answering system)
This feature sets your answering system to give an alert tone
every 10 seconds when there are new messages.
From the Handset Setup Menu:
1. Press the caller ID-volume ( 6 or 5) button to scroll to the
MESSAGE ALERT sub-menu.
. Press mute/program button to enter the menu. NEW MSG
ALERT 1ON 2OFF shows in the display.
. Use the touch-tone pad to enter the selection, or use the
caller ID-volume (6 or 5) button to scroll to the 1ON or
2OFF. The default setting is 2OFF.
. Press the mute/program button to confirm. You will hear
a confirmation tone and the new setting shows in the
display.
Rings to Answer (for answering system)
This feature lets you select the number of times you want the
phone to ring before the answering system answers a call.
From the Handset Setup Menu:
1. Press the caller ID-volume ( 6 or 5) button to scroll to the
RING
TO ANSWER sub-menu.
