Calibrating the Compass
1. From the Home screen, touch
View Map > > Trip Computer
> > Calibrate Compass.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Resetting the Trip Computer in
Walking Mode
Reset the trip computer before
beginning a trip.
1. From the Home screen, touch View
Map > > Trip Computer > .
2. Touch an item to reset.
Taking a Detour
While navigating a route, you can use
detours to avoid obstacles ahead of
you, such as construction zones.
1. While navigating a route, touch .
2. Select an option:
• From the application tray, touch
Detour when in Driving mode.
• From the application tray, touch
Recalculate when in Walking
mode.
If the route you are currently taking is
the only reasonable option, the device
might not calculate a detour.
Stopping the Route
1. While navigating a route, touch .
2. From the application tray, touch
Stop.

Adding Points to the Active
Route
1. While navigating a route, touch .
2. From the Home screen, touch
Where To?
3. Select an option for the search area.
4. Touch the intermediate location.
5. Touch Go! > insert Via Point.
