general
operating a dust collector is simple and straight-
forward. turn the dust collector
ON, then turn
the dust producing machine
ON. When you are
finished with the machine operation, turn the
machine
OFF, then turn the dust collector OFF.
Blast gates can be used at the start of each branch
line to control the air flow from the woodworking
machine to the dust collector. if a machine is not
being used, keep the blast gate closed to maintain
higher levels of efficiency throughout the system.
When the dust collector is not in use, unplug the
power cord from the power source. place the
cord away from potential damage sources, such
as high traffic areas, sharp objects, heat sources,
harsh chemicals, water, damp areas, etc.
