Customizing Your Device
Updating the Software
You must connect the device to your
computer to update the software
( page 35 ).
1 Go to www.garmin.com
/products/webupdater .
2 Follow the on-screen instructions.
nOTE: This does not erase any of your
data or settings.

From the main menu, select Setup
> About.

Using the Backlight
The backlight is activated any time you
press a button. Alerts and messages also
activate the backlight.
