4. open the nailer nose by removing the
rubber nose tip, depressing the nose
release mechanism, and opening the
nose cover as shown in
figure 7.

5. dislodge the jammed nail with a tool
that will fit in the slot on the underside
of the nose.
6. throw the damaged nail away and
insert a new nail stick that only contains
clean, undamaged nails. do not use
dirty or damaged nails!
7. Slide the pusher back until it locks into
position.
a jammed nail must be cleared before using
the nailer again.
to clear a jammed nail from the dis-
charge area:
1. diSConneCt nailer From the
air Supply!
2. release the catch lever and slide the
magazine pusher back.
3. remove the nail stick from the maga-
zine.
