Using the
Camera
Taking Pictures (B AUTO Mode)
This section describes the basic operations.

Turn the camera on.
A Slide the POWER switch.
CHECK
• Focal range
Wide-angle: approx. 70 cm (2.3 ft.) to infinity
Telephoto: approx. 1.5 m (4.9 ft.) to infinity
• Select e Macro mode to take close-up shots ( ➝p.65).

Press the Flash pop-up button to pop-up
the flash.

Switch the display.
Press the EVF/LCD to alternate the display between the
viewfinder (EVF) and the LCD monitor.
When the AF frame in the viewfinder (EVF) is difficult to
see, adjust the viewfinder using the Diopter adjustment
dial.
MEMO
The EVF/LCD selection is retained even when the
camera is off or the mode setting is changed.
