CAUTION
Z Playing back voice memos
CHECK
• Audio recording format:
WAVE ( ➝p.163), PCM recording format
• Audio file size:
Approx. 330 KB (for a 30-second voice memo)
MEMO Playing voice memo files
You may not be able to play back some voice memo files
recorded on other cameras.
Playing back voice memo
A Press p or q to select an image file with
a voice memo. # appears on the LCD
monitor.
B Press o to start playing back the voice
memo.

STOP PAUSE STOP PAUSE
The playback time appears on
the LCD monitor along with a
progress bar.

Speaker
Uncover the speaker.
The sound may be difficult to hear.
Control Description
Playback Playback begins.
The voice memo stops when
playback ends.
Pause /
Resume Pauses the voice memo during
playback.
Press o again to resume
playback.
Stop Stops playback.
Press p or q while voice
memo playback is stopped to go
back to the previous file or
advance to the next file
respectively.
Fast forward /
Rewind Press p or q during playback
to skip forwards or backwards
through the voice memo.
These buttons do not function
while playback is paused.
