onds.

HOW TO SET DUAL TIME

Press MODE button C four times
from normal time mode to enter the
dual time mode. Mode prompt “T2
will be displayed for two seconds.

Note: In this mode, the AM/PM flag
pertains to the dual time zone only.

To set dual time, follow the same
procedure as indicated for setting
normal time.

HOW TO SET AND OPERATE
THE TWO DAILY ALARMS

The Predator™ has two distinct
daily alarms, which can be set to
either normal time, dual time, or
both. From normal time mode,
press MODE button C five times
to enter the alarm mode. Mode
prompt “AL” will be displayed for
two seconds. “T1” or “T2”, (indicat-
ing normal time [T1] or dual time
[T2]), and “AL1” or “AL2”, (indicat-
ing first or second alarm), will be
displayed on the upper row. Alarm
time will be displayed on the
lower row.

Press LAP button E to select first
alarm (AL1) or second alarm (AL2).
Press and hold SET button D to
enter the alarm set mode; hours
digits will flash. Press LAP button
E to advance hours digits.

Press MODE button C; minutes
digits will flash. Press LAP button
E to advance minutes digits. Press
MODE button C; “T1” or “T2” will
flash. Press LAP button E to tog-
gle between “T1” and “T2”. When
setting is complete, press SET but-
ton D to exit the setting mode.

To arm or disarm the daily alarms
( ) , press STOP button B while in
the alarm mode. Press LAP button
T1 to toggle between alarm 1 (AL1)
and alarm 2 (AL2).

time mode shows hours, minutes,
seconds, day, date.This mode is
preceded by the prompt “ T1

HOW TO SET NORMAL TIME,
DATE AND 24-HOUR FORMAT

Before setting time, you must be in
normal time mode. Press and hold
SET button D while in normal time
mode, to enter the “set time” mode.
Seconds digits will flash. Press LAP
button E to reset the seconds digits
to zero. If seconds are greater than
30, the minutes display will increase
by one.

Press MODE button C to cycle
through the remaining digits to be
set. Advance flashing digits by
pressing LAP button E; hold for
rapid advance. The setting
sequence is: seconds, hours, min -
utes, day, year, month, and date,
you may press SET button D to
complete setting at any time.

Press STOP button B to arm or dis-
arm the hourly chime ( ).

HOW TO OPERATE
CHRONOGRAPH/STOPWATCH

The chronograph will record a maxi-
mum interval of 99 hours, 59 min-
utes and 59 seconds, and has a
resolution of 1/100 of a second for
intervals less than one hour.

Press MODE button C once from
normal time mode to enter the
chronograph mode; mode prompt
“CH” will be displayed for two

seconds.

To start the chronograph, press
LAP button E. To use the lap time
feature, press LAP button E while
chrono is running. This will display
lap and split time, lap number and
lap time for four-five seconds, then
split number and split time which
will also be displayed for four to five
seconds. The display will then
return to the current running time.

Press LAP button E again to record
the next lap and split time.
When the timing session is com-
plete, press STOP button B to stop
the chronograph. Press STOP but-
ton B again to reset the chrono-
graph to zero. The lap times of this
session are automatically stored in
memory (unless memory is full).

HOW TO RECALL LAP TIMES

From normal time mode, enter the
recall mode by pressing MODE but-
ton C twice. Mode prompt “REC”
will be displayed for two seconds.

Press LAP button E to scan the
recorded data in sequence, from
LP 1” to “LP 9,” and the last lap,
LP.” Press SET button D to toggle
the display between lap and split
times.

Only the first nine laps and the last
lap, (10th lap), will be stored in the
memory.

All data stored in memory will be
cleared when the chronograph is
reset. The chronograph is reset
while in the chronograph mode by
pressing STOP button B after the
chronograph has been stopped, or
from the recall mode by pressing
STOP button B twice.

HOW TO SET AND OPERATE
THE COUNTDOWN TIMER

From normal time mode, press
MODE button C three times to enter
the timer mode. Mode prompt “TR
will be displayed for two seconds.

Press and hold SET button D for
two to three seconds to enter the
setting mode; hours digits will flash.
Press LAP button E to increase the
flashing digit. Press MODE button C
to advance from hours, to minutes,
to seconds. Once the timer is set,
press SET button D to exit the set-
ting mode. The timer is now ready
to use.

Press LAP button E to start the
timer. Press STOP button B to stop
the timer. Press SET button D to
reset the timer to preset time. A sin-
gle chime will sound for each of the
