Your communications software, such as a PPP client application,

Cabling requirements
Your package contains a PC or Macintosh serial cable to connect
the Netopia ISDN Modem to your computer.
If your PC computer has a 25-pin serial por t, you will need a
DB-9–to–DB-25 adapter. See
for a description of the pins on the ISDN modem’s
RS-232-D por t.
