CPU Features Submenu of the Advanced Menu
The CPU Features Submenu provides options for
configuring the CPU.

Processor Serial Number: ■ Enabled

[Disabled] Enables or disables the Pentium III processor Serial Number feature.
Intel(R) SpeedStep(TM)
Technology: ■ Auto
■ Max. Perf.
■ Batt. Opt.
■ Disabled
[Auto] When Auto is selected, the CPU speed changes based upon the
power source change. When Max. Perf. is selected, the CPU speed
is maximized. When Batt. Opt. is selected, the CPU speed is opti-
mized for battery operation. When Disabled is selected, the CPU
speed is fixed to the Batt. Opt. speed.
