3. Open the paper chute cover of ScanSnap.

ScanSnap is automatically turned on and detected by your PC.
■ For Windows 98
The "Insert disk" request is displayed.
Insert the Windows 98 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive, and click the [OK] button.
■ For Windows Me
New hardware is automatically added, and processing is continued.
■ For Windows 2000
The "Digital Signature Not Found" dialog box is displayed. Click the [Yes] button.
ATTENTION
If the scanner is not automatically turned on, push the [POWER] button on the
scanner.
