Manage Your iPAQ Pocket PC
You can effectively manage your iPAQ Pocket PC by learning
how to:
■ Back up and restore information
■ Perform full and normal resets
■ Align the screen
Back Up Information
You can back up information to the personal computer using
ActiveSync.
Back Up/Restore Using ActiveSync
You should back up information to your computer regularly to
help reduce the chance of losing information.
Close all applications on your iPAQ Pocket PC before restoring
your information.
Å WARNING: Restoring your information replaces the current
information on your iPAQ Pocket PC with the information saved in
your backup.
Changing the Backlight Settings
On ... Select when to use the...
Battery Power Backlight on battery power.
External Power Backlight on external power.
Brightness Appropriate level of brightness.
Slide the bar to the lowest level to conserve the most
power.
