Setting the EMG
Aux Mute on the Innovator

To activate the mute function,
use a terminal jumper to connect
the +24 V BIAS terminal (4) and
the EMG CNT terminal . With the
jumper in place, the auxiliary
inputs will be muted when a
page is received . To deactivate
the muting function, connect
the EMG terminal to the EMG
GND terminal as shown in the
diagram at right .
Notes:
• The AUX mute for the PA input terminal operates independently from the teacher
voice mute settings .
Setting the Emergency Mute Function
The Emergency Mute Function (EMG) (4) allows the user to select whether auxiliary input
devices are muted during PA system announcements .
