How to change the number of ICM
The unit can record a total of 112 seconds of messages and memos. The factory setting breaks
up this up into seven (7) messages of 16 sec. each. It is possible, however, that you would
prefer longer messages or shorter messages. Since the total time must stay as 112 seconds,
the longer the message the smaller the number of messages. The table below summarizes your
choices:

Let us change ICM to 4 messages of 28 seconds each. Follow this procedure:
1. Turn the power OFF.
"CAUTION: BOTH ICM AND OGM MESSAGES WILL BE ERASED IN THE EVENT
OF A POWER INTERRUPTION. CARE SHOULD BE EXERCISED WHEN
UNPLUGGING THE UNIT OR TURNING OFF THE UNIT'S MAIN POWER SWITCH.
2. Press the HOOK button and keep it depressed until the FINE lamp blinks as you turn
the power ON.
3. Press the FINE/PHOTO button five (5) times to select the Number of ICM Set Mode.
4. Press the START/COPY button to print out the current security code. You will see:

5. To register the new number of ICM press FINE/PHOTO button four (4) times (for 4
messages).
6. Press START/COPY button to register this digit and the unit will print out the

The START/COPY lamp will start to blink when the printout is completed.
