G.722 License Information
The G.722 codec is enabled using the Combo codec license. The number of total codecs is shown in the License
Information panel (for Softswitch and Cloud deployments).
You will see the G.722 codec choice in various places throughout MaxAdministrator, wherever you see the other
codec choices for Softswitch and Cloud deployments.
G.722 in HMCP Board Configuration
In Release 7.5, the G.722 codec has been added to Voice Processing Resource choices for HMCP Boards (for
Softswitch and Cloud deployments).
The combo codec resources allocated in the system are used to process this codec, in addition to G.723 and G.729.
G.722 in the Current Resource Statistics View
In MAXCS 7.5, you will see G.722 in the Current Resource Statistics view (for Softswitch and Cloud deployments).
