Your Combination VCR is equipped with
several time saving features as well as
convenient automatic functions which make
tape operation easier than ever.

Auto Operation Functions
Auto Shut Off
In TV or Game mode, when a broadcast
signal is not received for 5 minutes, the
Combination VCR wiil automatically power
off (except when LINE INPUT is selected).
In Playback mode, when a Video signal is
not detected for 5 minutes, the Combination
VCR wili automaticaily power off and the
tape wiii be rewound.
• This feature is deactivated when any
button on the unit or remote control is
pushed even if there is no signal present.
Auto Playback
When a tape is inserted, the power turns
on (Auto). If the record tab* is removed,
playback begins (Auto).
Auto Rewind
When a tape reaches its end during
playback, fast forward,or manual record,
the Combination VCR wili rewind and
go into Stop mode.
Playback Auto Eject (Repeat Play is “OFF’)
When a tape without a record tab* is played
to its end, the Combination VCR will rewind
and then eject the tape.
Rec Auto Eject
After a tape reaches its end during
normal recording, the Combination VCR wiil
rewind and then eject the tape.
Memory Rewind Off
When POWER is pushed during rewind,
rewind wiil be completed even though the
Combination VCR turns off.

Repeat Play
You can set your Combination VCR up to play a recording over and over.

When REPEAT PLAY : “ON” is selected, the Combination VCR wiil
play to the end of a tape, or until it reaches a blank portion 30 seconds
or more. (Erased portions of tape are not considered blank.) Then, the
Combination VCR will automatically rewind the tape and play it again
and again until you cancel repeat play. The REPEAT indicator lights on
the front panel.
All function buttons (REW, FF, etc.) are operational during Repeat Play.
Push MENU to exit the SET UP VCR
screen. Then push A T ^ E^to select
“EXIT.” Now, push MENU to exit the
MAIN MENU.
You may also turn the repeat play feature on and off at the
Combination VCR by pushing PLAY during playback once
or twice until the repeat indicator lights up (ON), or goes out (OFF).
One Minute Skip
With this feature, you can skip over commercials recorded on a tape.
Push ZERO/1M1N in Play mode.
• The Combination VCR will go into FF search mode
and skip over 60 seconds of recorded time.
Then, normal playback will resume.

Counter overlay.

RESET to reset the

• Reset to 0:00:00 at
whatever point you wish
on the tape.
You can reset the Timer Counter to zero and then return to that point.
