If you set the timer incorrectly
Repeat the procedure from step | I on page 54 or 55.
Checking the timers
Press [CLOCK/TIMER, -DEMO] to select “0 PLAY” (or
"© REC").
Play timer:
Start time^Finish time—»Source—Volume
Record timer:
Start time—Finish time—Station selected
You can check the settings even when the system is OFF.
To enjoy a source after the timer setting is completed
You can enjoy the desired source after the timer setting is completed.
The volume level and music source are stored in the timer memory
and the timer will start in these preset conditions.
• If the power is on, the timer will not function. The system must be in
the standby mode.
•This system retains the ON/OFF time settings until you make a new
setting. If you make a new ON time setting, you must make a new
OFF time setting,
•The play and record timers function as set until you cancel them.
The timers (either one or both) are set when the [0 PLAY/© REC]
lamp is on.
'Using the sleep timer

by remote control only
The system will go into power standby mode at the set time (max.

hours, half hour intervals), so you can go to sleep listening to music.
The example shows how to set the system to standby mode after
30 minutes.
While enjoying the desired source:
Press [SLEEP].
The display will change as follows:
SLEEP 30—SLEEP 60—SLEEP 90

To cancel the sleep tinier
Press [SLEEP] to select “SLEEP OFF”.
To confirm the remaining time of the sleep timer
(While sleep timer is functioning)
Press [SLEEP].
The remaining time will be displayed for 5 seconds.
To change the timer setting
(while steep timer is functioning)
Ci) Press [SLEEP],
The remaining time will be displayed for 5 seconds.
® Press [SLEEP] again to select the desired sleep timer.

You can use the sleep timer, play timer, and record timer together.
Be aware that the sleep timer always has precedence. Ensure the
times do not overlap.
