Using the timer
Using the play timer
This timer starts play of the selected source at the selected time. The
example shows settings to play between 6:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. at
-40 dB.
The example in the figure is 12 hour clock.
Preparation:
Turn the unit on, set the time page 14), preset radio stations if you
want the timer to start playing the radio {•• page 15).

“© PLAY”.
©Press [SET] within 3 seconds.

•The display will show ON time, OFF time, the source you se­
lect, and the volume level alternately, and then reverts to the
previous display.
• Please confirm "© PLAY”.
Q Press Standby/on switch to switch the power
to standby mode.
The timer play will start at the preset time with volume increas­
ing gradually up to the volume level you preset.
To cancel the timer
Turn the unit on and press [© PLAY/© REC] to turn off "S PLAY",
Each time you press the button,

play -*© REC^® PLAY © REC-^Light off (off)

The play timer function will be cancelled, but the settings stay in the
memory.
For your reference
When you insert cassettes in decks 1 and 2, deck 1 has priority for
timer play on tape.
