Recording from discs
This function makes it easier tor you to record from audio CDs.
• When recording, if a track is cut off in the middle at the end of the
fonward side, it is recorded from the beginning on the reverse side.
• At the end of the reverse side recording stops and the current track
will be interrupted.
Preparations:
(D Press Standby/on switch to turn the unit on.
@ The leader tape must be wound on beforehand.
@ Insert the tape to be recorded on into deck 2.

To record in Dolby B NR:
Press [DOLBY NR] and check NR*’ is dis­
played.
Press [REV MODE] to select the reverse mode.
X: One side will record, then recording will stop
automatically.
c:Z.y- Both sides will record (forward side^reverse side),
then recording will stop automatically.
Set the tape direction.
To set the direction, first press [] and then [■].
Insert audio CDs in the trays.

When discs are loaded
Press [DISCI ]-[5] to select the disc to record, then press [■] to
stop the disc.
Press [CD EDIT].
"CD EDIT” will scroll across the display from right to left.
If you select "c^D” in step Q, the direction automatically chang­
es to when you press [CD EDIT].
To Stop one-touch editing
Press [■] on the cassette deck.
The DVDA/ideo CD/CD changer also stops.
“EDIT OUT will scroll across the display from right to left.
To edif-record programmed tracks
® Perform steps above, and then press [DVD] on the remote
control.
(D Press [PLAY MODE] to select “PRGM".
® Press [◄], [►], [▼], [A] to select the track, and then [SELECT]
on the remote control. (Program the desired tracks.)

When “ERROR” appears on the display
See if the “1 DISC/ALL” mode is set to “ALL DISC” or “ALL DISC
REPEAT. CD edit only functions in the “1-DISC" mode.
