Directory
You can store up to 255 names and numbers in the
directory. You can enter up to 24 digits and up to
16 characters.
There are two ways to enter the directory:
You can either press
Dir
.
Or
Press
Menu
then press
to scroll to
Directory
and
then press
OK
.
The following instructions use the
Dir
button but the
procedures are similar using either of the above options.
Add a new directory entry
1. Press
Dir
.
2. Press
Option
. Display shows
NEW ENTRY
. Press
OK
.
3. Use the keypad to enter the name then press
Save
.
4. Now enter the number and select
Save
. It’s best to enter
the full number, including the area code (see ‘Caller
Display ’ on page 33).
Entry Saved
is displayed, and
you will hear a confirmation tone.
5. Press
OK
to insert another directory entry. Or press
to return to the standby.

Entering names
For example, to enter the name
TOM:
Press 8, T is displayed.
Press 6 three times until the display
shows O.
Then press 6 to display M.

Exit at any time
Select
Back
to go back to the
previous menu.
Or press
to cancel and return
the phone to standby.
