Using the AF Assist Illuminator
(AF-ILL) Function

Pressing the AF Assist Illuminator Function
button turns on/off flashes AF Assist functions.
1. When turned on: AF Assist Illuminator Func-
tion will cause a flash’ s AF assist lamp to
illuminate when the camera shutter button is
half-pressed.
2. When turned off: AF Assist Illuminator Func-
tion will be disabled and will not illuminate
when the shutter button is half-pressed.
Note:
AF-ILL Functions need to be enabled
in flashes custom function menus. See flash
instruction manuals for details.
1. The Clear Button will erase any settings
currently in the TCU.

2. Press and hold the Clear button for 2 seconds
to remove TTL/M/Off, Ratio, Zoom and EV
settings currently in the TCU.
3. The Clear button will not change or reset the
transmission channel (1, 2, 3 or 4) set on the
TCU.
The test button will fire all flashes connected to
Phottix Odin receivers that are on the same
channel as the TCU.
1. Press the Test button.
2. Flashes will fire in sequence: Group A,
followed by Group B and C.
