During Assembly Be Sure That The Motor Is Not

Plugged Into Any Power Source. Always Double

Check Power Sources.

Tools Required

Emery Cloth

WD-40

5/32" Allen Head

1/2" Wrench

9/16" Wrench

3/8" Drive 1/2" Socket

3/8" Drive Ratchet

1-1/2" Open End Wrench

Brass Punch (Large)

3/8" Drive 9/16" Socket
Ball Peen Hammer
Pulley Puller (Large)

Removal Of Wire Guard

1. If the fan has a funnel flow cone, remove the wire

guard from the cone. If the fan does not have a
cone, remove the wire guard from the fan housing.

2. CAUTION: Make sure that the power cord is

unplugged from the outlet.

Removal Of Prop

1. Loosen the set screw on the prop and remove

prop.

2. Use emery cloth to remove any rust or deposits on

shaft. Clean and lubricate shaft thoroughly.

Check List Before Prop Installation

1. Inspect motor pulley and prop pulley for correct

alignment. See Figure 1.

2. Inspect belt for wear and proper tension

adjustments.

Installation Of Fiberglass Prop

1. Install TranTorque bushing into the new fiberglass

prop opposite the HH logo as shown in Figure 2.
NOTE: Make sure bushing has bottomed out
against blade hub before tightening bushing.

2. Install TranTorque bushing and prop assembly

onto shaft as shown in Figure 3. NOTE: Shaft
should be flush with end of bushing before
tightening bushing.

3. Check that prop/motor pulley clearance is 2.0" as

shown in Figure 4.

4. Hand tighten the bushing when assembly is in

position.

5. Use 1-1/2" open end wrench and turn 1/4 to 1/2

turn to achieve proper torque as shown in Figure 5.

Wire Guard Installation

1. Install the wire guard to the fan housing or the

funnel flow cone.

2. Verify proper operation of fan.
