”MATERIAL JAM IN MACHINE” under
”MALFUNCTION”.
EMPTYING THE RECEPTACLES (Fig. 4):
The shredded material is being catched
separatly
in the two receptacles standing side by side. If one
of the two receptacles is full, the machine switches

The left-hand side of the cutting me-
chanism (narrow feed slot) must only
be used for shredding CDs, DVDs and
3.5“ diskettes!
Any attempt to shred other types of data
medium may result in damage to the
machine (e.g. destruction of the cutting
mechanism etc.).
INSTALLATION:
- Unpack and set machine upright.
- Put a plastic bag in each receptacle.
- Plug in the machine (for instructions for the
necessary precautions see „TECHNICAL

the
right-hand feed slot (wide slot).
- Machine switches automatically to forward
and draws paper in. The machine switches off
automatically after shredding.
Never feed the shredder with a quantity
of paper exceeding the maximum indi-

Should the machine be overfed, refer to
„MATERIAL JAM IN MACHINE“ under
„MALFUNCTION“.
FEEDING DATA MEDIA:
- Turn machine on with pushbutton switch (1)
(fig. 1). Pilot lamp lights up (4) (fig. 1).
- Feed the relevant data media (CDs, DVDs or 3.5“

CONTROLS:
1 = Pushbutton switch „ready“ (fig. 1)
Depress this switch to start the machine or
to stop the machine.
2 = Light barrier (forward operation) (fig. 2)
The shredding operation is started as soon
as a sheet of paper passes through the feed
slot.
3 = Pushbutton switch „reverse“ (fig. 1)
Pressing this button activates the cutting
mechanism into reverse.
4 = Pilot lamp „ready“ (fig. 1)
Lights when the pushbutton switch (1) is
operated.
5 = Pilot lamp
„receptacle full“ / „door open“ (fig. 1)
Lights when
a) the receptacle is full and needs to be
emptied. At the same time the machine
switches off automatically.
b) the door is not closed. The machine then
switches off automatically and it cannot be
started as long as the door is open.
6 = Pilot lamp “material jam“ (fig. 1)
lights if too much material is fed into the cutting
mechanism. The cutting mechanism halts,
then runs one step in reverse and stops. The
motor switches off.
