TS-IEM Wiring (T2)
Two AC/DC interface terminals are included for up to 8 inputs or outputs per
TS-IEM I/O module. See Figure 7-13d for a typical wiring diagram.
ELECTRICAL DANGER
External power sources are present at the
TS-IEM module — avoid Electrical Shock Hazards, which may cause
injury or death. Before working on the these circuits:
•
Turn off all power to the TS-2001 system — at the electrical power panel.
•
Turn off all external power sources that are wired to the TS-IEM
module(s) and verify that no voltage is present !
•
DO NOT install or remove I/O modules, fuses, or wiring with power
applied !
•
DO NOT wire any unused module terminals
Recommended Wire
Use a minimum of 18 AWG (1 mm), type TFFN, THWN, or THHN wire.
•
Wire only one input/output to an interface terminal-set.
•
Wire each input or output module as shown in Figure 7-13d.
•
For each TS-IEM channel, Record the Module Type, Power Source, and Circuit
Description in TABLE 7-6.
•
At each interface terminal-set: clearly mark the wiring with the external power
source !
After TS-IEM Wiring — Steps
1) Reinstall all safety shields and covers.
2) Make sure all work is finished and all personnel are clear before powering up
3) Program the TS-2001 for these I/O modules as installed and recorded in
TABLE 7-6.
4) Test each input or output for proper operation.
