RS-232 Communication Connectors
Two connectors are provided at the bottom of the Tank Sentinel console for
RS-232 interface as shown in Figure 7-12. Follow the communications setup
instructions contained in the Programming Guide. The pin designations for the
RS-232 connectors are as follows:
CAUTION Peripheral equipment connected to the RS-232 communication
ports must:
1) be U.L. listed,
2) have a serial port conforming to the Electronics Industry
Association (EIA) standard RS-232C, and
3) not be installed over a hazardous location.
