2-6 Installing the DIGITAL VNswitch 900GV
Task 2: Seat the Module
To seat the module into a DIGITAL MultiSwitch 900 (Figure 2-4), complete the
following steps:

Step Action
1 Place the module’s mounting tab (1) into a mounting slot on the
DIGITAL MultiSwitch 900.
2 Pull up the release lever (2) to its unlocked position.
3 Pivot the module on the mounting tab, align the connectors, and firmly
push the module onto the backplane connectors.
4 Press down the release lever (3) to ensure that it is locked.
