Registering skipping of undes-
ired tracks in CD-R/RW
(SKIP TRACK)
Select the “CDR” input. Be sure to put the CD recorder in stop mode. §
When there is a track you do not to play, for example
a track which failed to be recorded, you can register
it in the disc so that the track is skipped automati-
cally in later playback (Skip Play).
1 Load a recordable CD-R/RW in the CD recorder.

2 Press the MENU key.
3 Press a MULTI CONTROL keys repeatedly until
"Skip Track ?" is displayed.
4 Press a MULTI CONTROL keys to select the track
to be skipped, and press the SET key.
5 Press a MULTI CONTROL keys to select "On".
6 Press the SET key. "Complete" will be displayed.
Skip Track cannot be registered in an already finalized
disc.
If the power cord is unplugged or there is a power
failure before the data is written in the disc, the
registration data will be cleared.

To register another track for Skip Track
Repeat steps 2 to 6 above.
To cancel the Skip Track registration
÷ Repeat steps 1 to 3 as required.
1. Perform steps
1 to 3 above.
2. In step
4, select the track to be skipped.
3. In step 5, select "Off" then press the SET key.

To test listen to the registration contents
Playback with Skip Play can be performed before
finally writing the Skip Track registration data in the
disc. First perform steps
1 to 4 of "Playing tracks by
skipping registered tracks" ( W) and press the
CD-R 6 key.
÷ The registration or cancellation data can be written in a disc
up to 21 times. When "CDR Skip Full" is displayed, these
data can no longer written in the disc.
To write the Skip Track registration data in disc
Press the CD recorder tray open/close (
0) key or
press the key to off (STANDBY).
